We are recruiting for a Production Office Assistant to join our team on a fixed term basis for 12 months. 

You will provide efficient assistance to the Production team to ensure the smooth running of the Production Office. This support will help us to continue to provide our excellent service that allow the transfer of patient care effectively from the hospital to their home, under the guidance and supervision of experienced members of the Production Office team.

Everything is a team effort – You will be part of a wider team and this means getting involved, caring about your team mates and working together closely.

Location: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW – located just off Junction 35A off the M1. We offer free onsite parking and tea and coffee.

Working hours: You’ll be working between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 Monday-Friday, plus the bank holidays except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Produce accurate batch manufacturing records and labels on a daily basis according to the schedule of work for each of the production areas.
  • Produce relevant environmental documentation for use inside the unit.
  • Produce bulk bag forms/labels and ensure levels are topped up as necessary in the Goods In area.
  • Accuracy checking of production documentation and labels.
  • Maintain product specific compounder formulation records in Excel database.
  • Assist in responding to queries from inside the unit.
  • Utilise SAP to check for
    • Customer orders
    • Stock levels of raw materials and finished products
    • Creation of Internal Order Numbers and batches of finished product

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Have the ability to work to tight and conflicting deadlines
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be able to work under pressure and under your own initiative
  • Be a team player with a good attention to details
